Here are 5 more presentation tips to make your presentation more effective;-
Don't start your presentation with an apology. It starts the presentation off on the wrong note.
Start your presentation with a question or a startling fact or a relevant quote. You can start with a joke if you are funny but otherwise avoid. You are looking to get your listener's attention.
Include 3 - 5 main points in your presentation. Any more than that and it can become unwieldy and your audience is unlikely to remember more than 5 points
Use PowerPoint slides to support your presentation not as the main focus of the presentation, and don't use too many slides
Keep the PowerPoint slides simple and uncluttered. Too much detail is distracting and can confuse the audience.
