Keep your presentation brief. Don't go on too long. No audience has ever complained about a presentation being too brief. Say what you have to say and sit down. Your audience will thank you for it.

Allow time to practice your presentation and use it. You want to practice enough times so that you are comfortable giving your presentation but not so many times that you have memorized it. There are 2 common problems with a memorized speech - it can come across wooden as you reel it off or you may forget it. And don't read your presentation from your presentation slides. Your audience can read quicker than you can speak.
